The Team

Our talented team is a group of skilled creative professionals from diverse backgrounds, sharing a common goal.

Each one of our designers brings a unique skill set and personal perspective to each project and the experience necessary to navigate every aspect and phase of the design and implementation process to see our collective ideas coming to fruition. The work of Indidesign has been published on domestic and international publications including Architectural Digest, Wallpaper, Time, Interior Design and Metropolis.

Principal and Founder

Beatrice Girelli RIBA, ARB, Italian Architectural Board Certification and License, NCIDQ 018365, is the founder and the design spirit of Indidesign. She received her Master Degree in Architecture at the University of Rome, La Sapienza, with a specialization in Historic Preservation/Restoration, she is NCIDQ certified, a chartered member of RIBA and has retained her professional Architectural license in Italy and in the UK. She has over 20 years of experience in the field of interior architecture and design with a special emphasis on luxury hotel design, product design and branding.

JOIN OUR TEAM

We are seeking a talented and motivated Interior Design to join our award-winning team.

In order to be considered for the position you will need a BA in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or related disciplines and a minimum of 1 year of professional experience.

The duties of the position are described below, a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop and In-design are minimum requisites for the position.

  • Create schematic and construction drawings in Auto-CAD and be familiar with paper space, X-ref system, layer state management, color, blocks and printing management.
  • Create hand and digital sketches under the guidance of Sr. staff to communicate with the design team.
  • Contribute to the creation of presentation material using software as InDesign, Photoshop, Sketch-up.
  • Update drawings following the notes and guidance of the senior design team to ensure that all drawing changes and drawing requests are completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Create Furnishings and Fabrics specification sheets, sample boards/FF&E including quantity counts and matrices
  • Produce finishes, lighting and plumbing schedules
  • Review shop drawings and finishes submittal and provide preliminary comments for Sr. staff to complete.
